Access to Healthy Food
The Boys & Girls Club of Clifton continues to make access to healthy food available to community members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each week, for the past 10 weeks, the Club has supervised the preparation, coordination and distribution of over 800 bags of healthy food. Bags consists of a variety of foods (cereal, rice, pancake mix, fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods), assembled by dedicated Club staff, Board members and volunteers. Every Friday, from Noon until 3:00–or sooner if bags ran out, Club, volunteers place the bags into car trunks, rain or shine.
