Bringing FitTrail to Northern New Jersey
The Boroughs of Hamburg and Franklin will be unveiling their FitTrail walking enhancement systems at their kickoffs to summer! The FitTrail system is a 10 station walking enhancement opportunity. Each station offers wellness seekers information on adding extra fitness into their walk through the respective parks. The stations range from stretching awareness to strength and flexibility work.
Hamburg has framed out the locations for the system as they prepare for the units installations. The 10 station system will be placed along the currently existing walking trail . The trail winds its way around the pristine baseball/soccer fields, huge playground and pavilion.
Franklin Borough will be featuring the Fittrail system on a newly created walking path in an area around the Franklin Pond. The borough will be laying out the walking path with paint first for the DPW to come in and work their magic. The system will be set in place as they work to install the new path. Target grand opening to be June 22nd at the Borough’s Franklin Day!
