Franklin Borough Reimagines Franklin Pond
Since our last post, Franklin Borough has decided to reimagine the recreation and park space around Franklin Pond. The re-imagination stemmed from a closer look at the stations set up and a want to offer more of a walking path for participants to engage in while utilizing the ten different station pieces. The Franklin Pond area has great opportunity for wellness to occur with a walking path and fit stations paired together. The restructure allows the Borough to design the most optimal experience for the participants.
The Department of Public Works has installed the first sign which will be one of the ten fit trail stations along what will be a newly constructed walking path.
Alison McHose – Franklin Borough Administrator shared, “We are so excited to have it come together this coming Spring! We will to incorporate a walking path as part of the new system.”
