Healthy and Happy Tuesday’s at East Orange’s Farmers Market

The City of East Orange, harvests our own locally sourced food through urban agriculture. Right here in our great City we grow string beans, callaloo, corn, mushrooms, kale, peppers, squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, arugula, onions, and much more! We even have our own bee keepers that produce the sweetest, purest honey in all East Orange. All this delicious organic produce made available to you every Tuesday at the East Orange Farmer’s Market. Providing organic, home grown produce is a huge step in creating a healthier East Orange.

From July 3- October 30, 11:30am – 6:30pm, East Orange hosts a Farmer’s Market on the Plaza in font of East Orange City Hall. The East Orange Farmers Market is a great place to meet our local produce vendors, honey harvesters, and natural product entrepreneurs. With more than 10 local vendors offering hand lotions, scented oils, or organic soap products, the East Orange Farmers Market has it all. For those just looking for a quick lunch with friendly company, there are food trucks available selling a wide range of products from juices, smoothies, and sandwiches to funnel cake, cheeseburgers, and cheesecakes.

Local residents and commuters are already looking forward to seeing all the wonderful produce and products that will be provided in next year’s Farmer’s Market. We appreciate all the support and community participation in helping East Orange become a healthier destination City. If you would like more information on the Farmer’s Market, please see the Farmer’s Market Manager Emilio Panasci located at the info booth or contact Mark Cheatam at 973-266-5140.
