SATHI -SEHAT Becomes a Part of the Temple Clinic

When physicians volunteer their time each month, miracles happen in the community. SATHI SEHAT team is now part of the monthly temple clinic at the Krishna Temple in Morganville. Community members are actively requesting topics they want to be educated on, so much so that we have a line of temple devotees waiting to see us! During our event, we shared recipes, knowledge and our commitment to serve the needs of the community. There is excitement about the Farmers Market we will be bringing at the 7th Annual Indo American Health Fair.

Community members are stopping by to let us know that they have incorporated healthier cooking methods, healthier fats, and lessened on their sweet’s consumption. An older gentleman even shared that he has been walking regularly and lost 11 pounds in the last six months since he heard us present at our first session at the temple.

We’re so proud of both our devotees and our volunteers for coming together to make our community a healthier and happier place to live.
