School is winding down and so are our instructor-led yoga classes. We’ll resume those in September along with Zumba and Yogalates.
For the summer, we will be holding yoga, tai chi, and Pilates classes using videos, and offering early morning and midday Guided Meditation sessions through an audio series from UCSD and other sources. We are lucky to have access to a large meeting room with a wide-screen monitor that is not utilized during the summer months. Hopefully, this experiment will meet with success and we can continue to offer additional classes during the school year that can meet the various schedules at our many campuses.
The use of audio guided meditation sessions also allows us to move outdoors into our garden area or courtyard. Vegetables and herbs have been planted by students and staff, making the garden area a peaceful and sweet-smelling retreat during the workday.
