Truck Routes for Business Owners

Cooper’s Ferry Partnership has begun working with business leaders along Federal Street, from 27th Street to State Street, to discuss potential improvements to the commercial corridor.  Business owners along the corridor participated in stakeholder and individual meetings with Cooper’s Ferry Partnership and consultants to discuss how potential road improvements could benefit businesses along the corridor.  Businesses owners provided feedback specific to truck delivery types and frequencies.  Several design plans were shared with business owners to obtain feedback and comments.

Camden County and Cooper’s Ferry Partnership, in conjunction with the City of Camden, have initiated ten conceptual design development projects to study potential improvements to several corridors and intersections throughout the City.  Possible improvements include traffic signal upgrades, truck traffic mitigation efforts, ADA compliant ramps and sidewalks, utility upgrades, road resurfacing, and streetscape amenities such as trees, lighting, benches and bike lanes.
