Eat Right and Get Fit!

Our last session of Zumba was a success. Our participants were very emotional on the last day of Zumba class. The participants made a very good connection with Munah Hayes the instructor and also with each other. Our last Zumba session was held on July 10, 2018. A participant stated that she was feeling “very sad” on the last day because she felt that the class not only helped her physically, it helped her socially she made several friends during the classes and it was something she looked forward to attending each Tuesday she stated.

The program distributed 25 bags of fruits and vegetables for the participants to take home each week. The food bags were prepared and provided by the Interfaith Food Pantry. The MNH held 12 sessions for the Spring season and each week we had 25-30 participants attend the class. We counted a total of 96 registered participants in our database for the 2018 Spring session. Participants and MNH staff are all looking forward to our Fall season of Zumba with Ms. Munah Hayes!
