Free Pop Up Produce Market

Generations for Garfield with the approval of our funder, The Russell Berrie Foundation, temporarily shifted focus from the proposed project to address the immediate needs our community which, has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Sgt. Jeff Stewart, Team Leader, organized an extraordinary group of volunteers to source and distribute food throughout the City of Garfield.  Working with a number of partner institutions including Table to Table, Common Market, Shore Produce, and The NJ Community Food Bank we outreached to thousands of residents to provide much needed food and connections to social service resources.
