Moving with Rhythm
Shaping Dover, a program funded by Atlantic Health System as part of the New Jersey Healthy Communities Network, is always looking for ways to keep the momentum going. Apart from the Fitness Workshop, the Zumba, Dover Walks and GoNoodle classes for the children, we have added a new physical activity to our calendar: Hip Hop classes!
On April 25th, Shaping Dover held its first Hip-Hop class, where residents of different ages came to join. Everyone was excited to learn a new style of dancing while burning off some calories. They enjoyed dancing to today’s top hits making it feel like a dance party instead of a workout routine. The Shaping Dover program would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Tyree Winters, a physician from Atlantic Health System, who is also our Hip-Hop instructor, for volunteering every fourth Thursday of the month!
If you would like to participate in this workshop or get more information about other events, feel free to call Maria at 973-620-9711.
