Safety First – New Barricades Give Direction
The Caldwell Department of Health and Human Services in connection with the Caldwell Police Department and the Healthy Communities Network Grant has purchase new safety barricades. Each of the barricades have illuminated writing so they are easier to see at night. The barricade initially purchased to be used with the City Green Veggie Mobile are used daily by the Caldwell Police Department.
The new barricades have different messages that can be illuminated. The Police Department are using to barricades to provide safety messages such as street closures and watch for pedestrians. The Caldwell Police Department are excited to have another form of communication with the public.
