Save the Date! Bloomfield Invites You to ‘Breakfast after the Bell’
We are at the starting line of our “Breakfast after the Bell” kickoff! We have a fun-filled afternoon planned for Berkeley Elementary School, where we will be implementing the pilot program. At last count, we had nearly 400 students expected to enroll!
All the boxes are checked. All the vendors are confirmed. And all the ribbons are ready to be tied.
The festivities will begin at noon on Aug. 29 with a live DJ spinning tunes, food, face painting and giveaways. We are thrilled that a chef from Maschio’s Food Service will provide a tasting of the breakfast items. We’re also excited about Clara Maass Medical Center’s “teddy bear clinic,” which will use a giant teddy bear to help children feel comfortable when visiting the doctor. The Montclair YMCA has also graciously agreed to distribute information on all of its wonderful summer programs.
Additionally, there will be information on children’s health, social service referrals and blood pressure screenings.
We look forward to sharing the pictures and video from the event on our next blog!
